Fitting it yourself.
This is the shape of an install, in four steps. It is a guide to the idea, not a wiring manual.
1. Plan where each node lives
Decide which jobs you want and put each node near what it controls. Pick a spot for the hub where you can reach the screen.
2. Run the one cable
Lay a single cable from the hub to the first node, then on to the next. Plan the route before you drill or fix anything.
3. Fit each node
Mount each node and connect it to the cable. If you have a Controls node, this is when you wire in your own buttons and switches.
4. First switch-on
Power up, then check each system from the hub screen one at a time.
The exact cable, connectors and fusing will be published with the hardware. Nothing on this page is a wiring instruction yet.
